Many of you expressed difficulties with the initial difficulty level, so our development team has been working tirelessly to prepare three difficulty settings. Please check the details below.
Easy Mode: Suitable for beginners, ideal for learning the game.
Normal Mode: A balanced difficulty for players who have a good understanding of the game.
Hard Mode: A high-difficulty setting for skilled players, corresponding to the original difficulty.
Each difficulty level is designed to allow you to immerse yourself more easily in Spectral Scream's fascinating purgatory world and enjoy challenges that match your skills.
Improvement of Item Acquisition and Sales
- Adjustments made to dropped items and shop items for each chapter.
- New items can be acquired and purchased progressively from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3.
- The EMF distribution location has been changed from the outdoor table to the entrance of Chapter 1.
Adjustment of Creature Appearance Patterns (Based on Hard Mode)
- Hoarders and Brothers have been removed from Chapter 1. As a result, demon-type creatures no longer appear in Chapter 1.
- Instead, Ghouls and Living Dead now appear in Chapter 1.
- Fixed an issue where SteamVR was unnecessarily running in Desktop mode
- Fixed an intermittent inventory malfunction caused by trap-type items
- Optimized light-related performance
- Various other bug fixes
