Update 1.1

Greetings and an early Happy Halloween to everyone. First off, from everyone here at Rank 17, thank you for purchasing Boo Breakers. So far the game has been received very well and we hope to continue improving the game based on your feedback.

For our first update, we have made the following tweaks and bug fixes reported this week.

  • Balanced music and sound effects: Some of the audio levels were inconsistent and overpowering; this has been adjusted. Continued feedback on this is desired, we want to make sure we are setting the correct tone without destroying your eardrums.
  • Trap time is now cumulative: It can be difficult to get some of the pesky spirits into the traps and when they broke free you had to start all over again. Now total trap time accumulates making this less of a hassle. Please let us know how this feels.
  • Difficulty of spawns tuned: You should no longer have a chance of getting a higher difficulty ghost in the initial rooms. This was creating an unintended spike in difficulty at the beginning of the game that took away from some experiences.
  • Respawning in space: Some players reported an issue where you would faint and respawn in a room that was not loading properly. This should no longer occur.
  • Wands disappearing: Wands would stop rendering when you would got to the Steam menu and return to the game.
  • Fixed a typo in the introduction text.

That about covers the changes for this update. We look forward to more feedback and releasing more updates in the future. Once again we want to thank you all for purchasing our game and hope you will recommend it to your friends. Happy Haunting.
