We are pleased to announce that version 2.0.3 of the Shoot 'Em Up Kit is now available. This new version contains many new features and bug fixes.

  • Scenery sprites are now correctly displayed in thumbnail icons.
  • Menu icon has been moved to a more intuitive position on the toolbar.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented a rotated light from updating in real-time.
  • General UI Fixes and Improvements.

  • Bullet Destroyed particle effect and the Bullet particle scales are now saved correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Scenery item name changes from being stored.
  • Fixed an issue that could create empty thumbnail icons for Entities on PC's with certain graphics card drivers.
  • Minimum Sprite frame time is now 1/100 of a second (0.01 seconds).
  • User Variables' default values are now correctly saved.
  • User Variables are automatically initialised to their default values at the start of games.
  • Added notifications for PopUp editing.
  • Improvements to AI Rotation types; including more control over the speed.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause NPCs to appear to shake when following a spline.
  • Fixed an issue where cancelling selection of a Parent or Parent Tag could cause the Editor to be unresponsive to some actions.

We hope you enjoy the new build and we thank you for your support.
