The latest version of the Shoot 'Em Up Kit (2.0.4) is now available; and we have released a new set of tutorial videos.

The new tutorials can be found on our tutorial page and cover:

  • Importing Models
  • Creating Timer Bars
  • Searchlights
  • Enemy Waves
  • NPC Generators

The changelist for version 2.0.4 includes:

  • Added fixes and safety checks to improve stability. Thank you to everyone who has reported bugs and crashes.
  • The Auto Build feature in the Sprite Editor returns to the Animation tab for further editing rather than saving the Sprite.
  • Added an option for adjusting the duration of all sprite frames rather than individual frames.
  • Corrected the width of the General and Confirm panes in the Particle Editor.
  • Fixed an issue which could display 2 window panes when placing an NPC Generator.
  • Fixed an issue with the Camera rotating incorrectly in the Particle Editor after visiting the Level Editor.
  • Definition panes now contain more descriptive titles.
  • Window title now includes the project name.
  • Fixed some of the size issues in the Sprite Editor.
  • Touch and Tilt sensors are now fully working on systems that support them.
  • All Effect types can now be set-up in the Entity Editor.
  • Improvements to Entities that are set to stop when they collide.
  • Fixed some issues with Pop-Up items not being triggered or displayed correctly.
  • Particle Emitters now correctly use the direction of an Tags they are assigned to.
  • Added the option to change the location of the project files.
