Season 1 of our Competitive mode officially ended. Thank you to all the players that rose through the ranks, and fought to get their rewards! In any case, it’s time for a brand-new season! Welcome to Season 2! Though, a couple of things changed. We have new throwing mechanics, auto pick-up for the EMP is here, rappelling changes, and of course, a new competitive skin to earn!

As always, there’s a skin up for grabs in a competitive season, and this time is no different. We’ve had a Vezin skin in Season Zero, and a Taurus skin in Season 1. For Season 2, we chose to go with an SMG. Get ready to rise through the ranks and earn a shiny new RCP skin!
New Update, New Throwing!
We added guided throwing in order to allow players to execute their strategies with more intent. We noticed people often struggle to make their tactical utility land at the location they had in mind, and implemented a solution to combat this. When arming a throwable gadget and reaching out your other hand, a trajectory will appear. Throw the gadget in roughly the same direction, and it should land at the visualized target destination. While we realize this lowers the mechanical skill floor for the interaction, our goal is to increase the skill ceiling for strategic decision-making, by making the desired results more reproducible. Players who don't enjoy the guided throwing can still perform throws using the original method by not reaching out their other hand, or simply disable the feature by turning it off in the settings.
Auto pick-up for EMP is finally here!
Gone are the days of digging through guns and gadgets when trying to pick up the EMP. Simply walk over the EMP and you will pick it up, unless you just dropped it, then it'll take a while before you can automatically pick it up again. You can even throw the EMP to a teammate, and they will automatically catch it.
Say hello to brand-new “Deluxe” DLC Bundles!
Some of you had already seen the new "Deluxe" skin rarity show up in the in-game store. And now, you know why it was there! These new Deluxe Skins are available in our new DLC bundles, and can be bought in-game with credits, or as DLC on the Meta store (and soon here on Steam as well).
The skins in these bundles feature unique muzzle flashes and sounds, making them extra satisfying to use!
