We hope 2019 treats you well!
Today we've got an exciting update for you guys as we've managed to prepare a pretty solid patch which improves the optimization of the game, enabling a smoother experience. The framerate should be improved for people having low or medium settings set in the game.
Speaking of, we've improved the automatic detection of graphics settings - the system should now be more accurate of setting the best possible settings your PC can handle in order for you to have the best possible experience :)
Here's what this update brings in more detail:
Added:
- some changes to how some sections load (all sections are now loaded from the start of the scene, no more loading between sections (with the exception of act 3 - we'll get there!))
- further optimization (especially on low and medium graphics settings)
Fixes:
- automatic graphics settings detection is more accurate
NOTE: When you first start Kursk the system will automatically set the graphics settings for you, but you can always set them manually in the options menu :)
That's a pretty big update as it is something you guys have always wanted, so we're really glad that we we're able to turn up the framerate of our game. We hope that our streamers will be able to stream as long as they like without any frame drops.
