We have a very special announcment to make. If you have followed the VKonkakte posts then you should already know, but for our english players.
Kuboom is going to be entirely remade
What does this mean? Well. Currently we have a steam greenlight submission named Kuboom X2 and this is basically Kuboom 2. So this news post will explain why and why we haven't been updating Kuboom.
Lets start with why Kuboom hasn't been as active as of late.
Kuboom has been a very fun experience and we have poured our soul into this game. However as time went by most of our members left due to lack of motivation. So while there was no news announced or anything we were in the beginning stages of Kuboom X2. So months roll by with no explaination as of why there hasn't been any updates. So simply. To answer that question, there hasn't been any update because we were all working on Kuboom X2. And we are deeply sorry for this.
What will happen to Kuboom? Will it be shutdown? Will we lose all of our data?
Actually, No! You wont lose data! In fact! it will be carried over to Kuboom X2! However about the shutdown part... Thats something I dont know about.. Currently Kuboom X2 is in its concept stages. We have has teasers uploaded to VK such as a Tank
and a new character concept. However if Kuboom is shutdown then we would have an epic final sendoff to all of our beloved users.
