Skyfront is hosting a special Summer Kickoff Challenge in line with the beginning of summer and, more importantly, the Steam Summer Sale!
Steam already lets you refund a product that you don’t like. Well, Skyfront is offering a money-back guarantee to the top three newcomers that purchase our game during the Summer Sale! If you make it on the Summer Kickoff Challenge leaderboard in our Rookie League, you get your money back in the form of a $ 10 Steam Gift Card. Simple as that!
Our veterans, we want to see you teaching the fledglings how we do it in Skyfront! And so, the top three players in our Master and Titan Leagues will also be awarded $ 10 Steam Gift Cards!

Summer Kickoff will begin Thursday June 21st at 4:55 PM UTC and end Monday June 25th at 6:55 AM UTC.
Prizes
Top three players in the Rookie League– $ 10 Steam gift card
Top three players in the Master League – $ 10 Steam gift card
Top three players in the Titan League – $ 10 Steam gift card
Rules
- Players will compete in one of three Leagues based on the player’s experience at the beginning of the Summer Kickoff Challenge:
a) Rookie – players with up to one hour of gameplay experience;
b) Master – players with one to ten hours of gameplay experience;
c) Titan – players with at least ten hours of gameplay experience. - Players can’t move up a League mid-event.
- Three winners will be crowned in each League. A total of nine prizes will be awarded by the organisers.
- Players will compete for the most kills during a single Deathmatch game.
- Your death count will not affect your chance of winning – we are only looking at your kill count.
- A player’s high score will be registered at the end of the game or when the player exits the game.
- You may use all weapons and special abilities – use whatever gives you the advantage and suits your play style.
- Players are forbidden from teaming up and assisting each other or using bugs or glitches with the intention of getting a better high score.
- Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated in-game, especially in VOIP – keep it friendly!
- Summer Kickoff will be moderated to ensure no one is cheating or breaking any rules.
- Players may play against players from any League.
- The high scores will be counted for games with a minimum of 3 players at the start of the game. NOTE! If the game starts with three players and two players leave before the end of the game, the high score of the last remaining player will be locked the moment the second to last player leaves the game.
- The winners are the players with the top three highest kill counts in their League at the end of the Summer Kickoff Challenge. The Challenge will have a total of nine winners – three in each League.
- Arcade accounts are excluded from the Summer Kickoff Challenge (see Important Notes below).
- Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Summer Kickoff Challenge.
- Skyfront will attempt to contact the winners of the Summer Kickoff Challenge, but to guarantee that you get your due prize asap, please contact the devs on Skyfront’s social media or Discord channel.
Important Notes
High scores from arcades will not be included in the Summer Kickoff Challenge. That being said, arcade players are still more than welcome to join in on the event, but their scores will not be counted towards anything.
Keep an eye out for Skyfront events at your local arcades! If you find a VR arcade that doesn’t have Skyfront yet, let us know, and we’ll do our best to bring the game to your home turf.
