Greetings Survivalists!
A major update for Survival Story has been released today, and now we're going to tell you what has changed in the game.
A short list of changes:
Interface changes
Added difficulty levels
Redesigned the beginning of the game
Changes in the dialog system
And now for more details.
Interface changes
The game has completely changed the interface of interaction with the inventory. For your convenience, now the empty bar with the description of items, will not catch your eye. When interacting with items in the inventory, a special window pops up in which you can learn everything about the item you are interested in. Also changed the interface of interaction with the Merchant, campfire and workbench.
Addition of difficulty levels
Now before starting the game you will have to choose a difficulty level, which affects the fundamental aspects of the game. There are a total of three difficulty levels on each of which you will be dealt with at different intensities.
Redesigned game start
At the beginning of the game, you now need to hit up a few vaults to acquire starter items that will help you escape the burning city.
Change to the dialog system
The dialog system has changed quite a bit compared to the game's release. Now over NPCs do not pop up a dialog box, the dialog is now visible on the whole screen and each character has a separate image so that you understand who you are talking to.
Other
In the new update, the interaction popups have undergone changes. Previously the inscriptions in different languages were not centered and it looked terrible. Now in all languages all inscriptions appear above the items and characters you are going to interact with.
The Survival Book has been redesigned. The quest section has moved to the main page, your inventory and stats are now displayed in the top left corner of the page. A stats tracker of the zombies you've killed has also been added.
All interface windows are now closed with E or ESC.
I hope that this update will make life much easier for all players and allow more people to enjoy my game.
