Rescues and Puzzles in Critter Café - Discover Portals and Save Critters!

Critter Café is home to a wide variety of Critters, but you won't find all of them at your café from day one. That's because they've been trapped inside mysterious portals throughout Gold Leaf Isle, and it's up to you to rescue them!

Once you've earned a potion through managing your café, you'll be able to head out into the world and use that potion to open a portal. After leaping inside, you'll find yourself in a mysterious new area, with a whole new aesthetic. Think purple skies, ancient ruins, and twisting vines – not quite as cozy as the café!

To save the Critter within, you'll need to solve the portal's puzzle. Anyone who has played our Steam Next Fest Demo will know that some of these puzzles involve pushing blocks to clear paths and create bridges. They might seem simple at first, but they can get pretty fiendish over time. Expect new conundrums to overcome and progressively harder puzzles to unpick.

You'll also have some tools on hand to help you navigate the portals. One key tool is your hammer, which can smash through amber that blocks your path. Perhaps you'll even find temporary power-ups for your hammer to help get through more troublesome problems. The more you play and progress, the more tools and useful additions you'll discover.
