Gameplay Updates:

  • Ghost powers can now be selected before spawning and are retained afterward.
  • Added a hotkey for switching between floors: hold RMB and scroll the mouse wheel.
  • Key rebinds can now be adjusted within the same room.
  • Ghost powers will not activate if there isn’t enough Plasm.
  • Continuous powers have been added.
  • The time before losing a level has been increased.
  • Hovering over a power button in the context menu displays its cost both below the button and in a popup.
  • Context menus for ghosts and mortals can be opened by clicking on them in the world.
  • The Luck state is now displayed as an effect above mortals’ heads.
  • Power cast times and delays have been reduced.
  • Powers now target mortals more accurately.
  • The camera can now zoom closer to specific locations.
  • Attraction powers display their effects above mortals’ heads.
  • Mortals’ descriptions are now translated correctly.
  • Various fetters on levels have been tweaked and new ones added.
  • Turning lights off no longer makes the scene completely dark (if lights were initially present).
  • The "Recommended" feature has been adjusted to align closer to the original game.
  • Added an Astral Choir sound effect when zooming out too far.


User Interface (UI):

  • The time in Free Roam mode has been increased, and button positions on the screen have been adjusted.
  • Floor switch buttons are now functional.
  • While a mortal is fleeing, their "X" icon blinks.
  • Volume settings now load and apply correctly at game startup.


Fetters:

  • Mortals who sleep now create a “Sleeping” fetter (though not perfectly aligned with their models yet).
  • Added Child fetters for child characters.


Ghoul Room:

  • Ceilings are now visible again.


Ghost Updates:

  • Missing purchasable powers for ghosts, such as Weather Witch and Knuckles, have been restored.
  • BlueMurder no longer has the Inside fetter.
  • Added or adjusted ghost release methods for Daydreamer, Electrospasm, and Whisperwind (work in progress).
  • Banzai now appears in the prisoned ghosts panel after being released.


Level Adjustments:

  • Summoners Not Included:
    • The Professor no longer leaves the basement.
    • Camera movement is now restricted to a zone around the cabin.

  • Phantom of the Operating Room:

    • Win conditions now require scaring only doctors and nurses, not all mortals.

  • Calamity:

    • The Painting fetter has been restored.
    • The TeaSet no longer has the Corpse fetter.
    • Fixed the logic for releasing Hardboiled.

  • Weird Science: Missing mortals have been restored.
  • Haunting 101: The spawn side has been rotated to the opposite direction, matching the original.
  • Posters have been replaced.

Powers:

  • Restored Kinesis and Telekinetic (TK) movement.
  • Effects for Danse Macabre, Domination, Quake, and Tremor have been updated, including camera feedback.
  • Fog, ThunderClap, and Distant Thunder effects have been improved.


Settings:

  • Added options for controlling Motion Blur.
  • Added an option for enabling or disabling V-Sync.
  • Added an option to adjust Smooth Camera settings.
