Update v1.3 – Gameplay Improvements Based on Player Feedback

Caution Ahead: Part 1 · published 1 Nov 2024, 16:24 UTC · build 16266729

Hi everyone! Thank you again for your feedback on Caution Ahead: Part 1.

I’ve implemented a couple of changes in Update v1.3 to improve gameplay based on what I’ve heard from players:

  1. Normalized Character Movement – Previously, character could move faster when running diagonally, which created an inconsistent feel to movement. This has now been adjusted to provide a more balanced and natural movement experience.
  2. Crouch Indicator Icon – Some players occasionally entered crouch mode unintentionally and didn’t immediately realize they were crouched, which interrupted gameplay. I’ve added a crouch icon to provide a clear visual indicator when you’re in crouch mode.
  3. Other minor bug fixes.

Thank you again for helping improve the game! Keep sharing your thoughts as I continue to make adjustments.
