To Be Kind

Hot thanks for the kind words about us leaving early access. Shoutout to everyone who sent messages of encouragement regarding our supposed burnout. Just to clarify: the fact that we’re done working on something doesn’t automatically mean we’re having a crisis. It simply means we don’t feel like working on Priest Simulator: Vampire Show anymore—because seriously, how much can you do? Six years on this game is enough, and at some point, you’ve gotta call it.

That said, it absolutely doesn’t mean we’re giving players the finger or abandoning the project. Priest is leaving EA, which means we don’t see a point in further development—it’s done, plain and simple. The game is complete, and that’s that. Those who’ve played know we launched into early access with a solid product, and if you’re unsure, just check the reviews. During early access, we fixed and added a ton of content, and in December, we’re rolling out another patch stuffed with fixes. (Big no-love to the smartasses who keep ignoring this part in our updates, know jack-all about the game, but love flapping their gums online.)

To those who bought the game and stuck with us patiently: sending kisses your way again for all the love during this wild journey. May your sense of dark humor never falter—as in heaven, so on earth, and yes, even under the map. Amen.

Anyway, if something still ends up borked, hit us up. Just remember: if it’s good, then it’s good enough.

So here it is again: thank you for being part of, let’s not kid ourselves, the most important adventure of our professional lives. It’s still a bit too early for a proper postmortem where we could dive into all the highs and lows, but that moment will definitely come. We've been working on this project for.…Announcement18 Nov 2024The EndWe regret to inform you that we’re wrapping up early access on December 5th. Honestly, we’re done working on this game and are focusing on the next ones. On that day, we’ll release a patch with a bag full of fixed bugs. Please, don’t report any more issues – the game doesn’t have to be perfect. Let’s not be perfectionists. Instead, focus on being a good person, smiling, enjoying the little thin…
