Hey everyone!🌴✨

Thanks to your feedback on game balance, resource gathering, and core mechanics over the past few days, we’re excited to share some key improvements! This update fine-tunes several gameplay elements to make resource gathering more enjoyable and progression more rewarding, while also addressing bugs you’ve reported.🌴

We know that navigation has been a challenge for some of you, and we’re actively working on ways to make it easier. We appreciate your support as we work to make Luma Island even better!🌴

Design and Balance Updates

Resource Gathering

• Made it easier to smash Boulders, Ore Rocks and Rubble Rocks.
• Made it easier to cut down Trees and Logs.
• Made it easier to clear Cobwebs.
• Made Trees, Logs and Boulders drop more resources.

Spiders/Ghosts

• Spider/Ghost health has been heavily reduced.
• Spider/Ghost attacks no longer kill the player. Resources are dropped instead.
• The spawn rate of spiders/Ghosts in the Mountain and Jungle caves has been changed.
• Spider silk is guaranteed to drop when spiders are killed.

Tool Upgrades

• The first upgrade for each tool is now free.
• Reduced the resource cost of upgrading most tools.

Crafting and Construction

• Reduced the construction cost of multiple craft benches.
• Reduced the Luma Energy requirements for profession recipes.
• Improved crafting speeds for Forest, Mountain, and Jungle recipes.

General

• Running through crops, bushes, ferns, grass, and water will no longer slow the player down as much.
• Added new beginner tasks to profession quests to teach you how to upgrade tools.
• Increased money received for completing profession quests.
• Increased money received when selling profession items.

Bug Fixes

Major Fixes

• Fixed an issue where crashes as a client could result in a Luma being lost.
• Fixed an issue where players would not receive the lighthouse repair achievement.
• Achievements previously not unlocked erroneously will now be granted on save load.
• Addressed a number of performance issues relating to inserting items in multiplayer.

Minor Fixes

• Fixed a bug where the Tree Ground Rune puzzle would not spawn a treasure chest when complete.
• Improved translations.
