BETA 1.36 Release Notes:
Controller View:
- Resolved a critical memory leak issue that caused RAM usage to increase over time when invoking the controller view buttons to display press/release states. This fix significantly reduces CPU usage and enhances overall performance with the input system.
- The controller view now refreshes at a consistent 30 frames per second, ensuring smoother operation.
- To conserve resources, the controller view pauses refresh updates if the controller remains idle for 30 seconds or more. Refreshing resumes automatically when the controller is re-engaged.
Shortcut Actions:
- Resolved an issue where the "Turn Off" or "Restart Controller" shortcut action would display an error message in Native Mode. This bug prevented the controller from reconnecting and required a DSX restart. The issue has been fixed to ensure seamless reconnections.
- Updated the Touchpad Shortcut action to function as a toggle. This improvement eliminates the need for an additional shortcut to switch back to passthrough mode, simplifying usability.
Multi-Haptics:
- Enhanced the application of haptic presets by introducing a limiter to prevent spamming, ensuring consistent performance.
- Updated intensity sliders for more precise control, expanding the range from 0–10 to 0–100.
Installed Games Page:
- Refactored the underlying logic, leading to noticeable improvements in loading times when detecting installed games.
Mod System Page:
- Resolved issues with loading and saving the Mod System list to cache, ensuring smoother and more reliable functionality.
Achievements:
- Fixed issues with the "My Style" and "Not Enough Configs" achievements not unlocking correctly.
- Resolved a problem where button press achievements were not being counted.
- Corrected the behavior of the Haptic achievement, ensuring it only unlocks when one of the haptic modes is turned on, rather than just visiting the config of the haptic mode.
- Adjusted the achievement unlock date to display in local time instead of UTC when fetching data from the Steam API.
APP:
- Optimized the UDP server to enhance performance for the Mod System.
- Implemented minor UI tweaks and general app improvements for a smoother user experience.
