DON'T! FRET UPDATES V3

Hey Fretters (we thought this was fun... please tell us if it's not ːsteamsadː)

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING?

Since the launch of the announcement trailer, Don't! Fret has amassed 3K+ wishlists! Thank each and every one of you who has shown interest in our game.

When the trailer was launched, we had enough of the systems in place to know how the game would play, the core style and design of the world was feeling great, the major plat characters were decided on, and the storyline had a start and an end. There's a whole lot that goes on in between all of those major beats...

CHAPTER BASED?

Don't! Fret was originally going to be a chapter based game, and was going to be about an hour and change with its first installment. The mascot horror trend typically has fallen in this pattern and while there are arguments on both sides to what is the better release schedule, we have felt that the game and it's story will best be consumed as a singular product.

With this decision, we also felt that it was important that our fans get a taste of what it is we have been cooking up for the past year....

DEMO!

Steam's Fall Next Fest is approaching and with us wanting to players to get their hands on Don't! Fret - we have decided to work toward getting a demo of Don't! Fret polished and ready for the festival. While there will be many systems in place that aren't fully finished, we are trying to include as many as we can and for those pieces that aren't fully baked out - we will have some really fun concepts for you to enjoy to understand what will be working toward.

My intention with the demo is that you walk away getting a very good sense of the world we are building, have tons of story driven content to feast on, enjoy some scary moments, and ultimately get excited knowing we are working on a video game with the utmost care. I'll stop rambling now...

NEW GAMEPLAY TRAILER

With an upcoming demo we will of course be dropping a new trailer with gameplay for everyone to enjoy hopefully VERY soon!
