The ISN 0.11 Milestone Program

I've noticed that, as the releases for ISN have grown, so have the early bugs. I don't always catch every single bug that crops up in the code, so I've decided it's time to open up a testing program for Idle Space Navy releases. The Milestone Program is that program, and applications to be part of the 0.11 Milestone Program are now open.

How it works. Once applications close (at 10pm Pacific Time on 26 July 2024, or a little under four and a half days from now), I will be selecting 3-5 applicants, sending them Discord invitations to the Phoenix Aura server as well as Steam access to the closed beta for ISN 0.11.0 - which will begin with the first Milestone build no later than 01 August 2024.

Milestone builds will work on an incremental basis - all the bugs with the first feature set (Milestone Build 0) will be resolved in future Milestone Builds (Build 1, 2, 3, ...) before the next feature set is released to Milestone. I intend to release feature sets no less than once every ten days (ideally at least once a week), to ideally include 6-8 feature set releases before an ISN 0.11 public launch in late September.

How can I be a part of the 0.11 Milestone Program? If you haven't already, go to the application and complete it (it's short and should take 5 minutes at the absolute most). If you're selected, you'll receive information as indicated above, and if not, I'll still be sure to send you my thanks for applying. To make it easier, join the Phoenix Aura Discord and get your roles (including the Idle Space Navy role) so you're ready to receive the Milestone Program roles when they launch.

Thank you for all the feedback on the game so far - and I'm looking forward to the public feedback on 0.11 being more focused on the gameplay rather than on bugs I've accidentally left in the code!

Community4 Oct 2025ISN Updates: Where's Arynnia, Milestone Program, Unity VulnerabilitySo, quite a lot has happened. I ended up with a computer rebuild that borked things, then in a move, and now there's a Unity issue to talk about. So, let's talk about all of it. Where's Arynnia? Long story short, my ability to release new versions of *Idle Space Navy* got compromised when my computer failed and I had to move to much different hardware. I was not able to get my signing certifica…Community20 Nov 2024ISN: A Mini-News UpdatePlease excuse the cover images - the 0.11 Milestone Program is still a thing, nothing's changing with that, though I might be looking to add another member or two. Stay tuned. So, it's been a hot minute since some news has come out on Idle Space Navy 0.11. A lot of that is that I've had to take a lot of time for my mental health, as well as some other stuff going on. For that, I sincerely apolo…Community7 Jul 2024Idle Space Navy Devnote XXXVIIIJuly 6, 2024 (at least in the time zone I'm writing this post). Today is the 588th day since I've set off on the journey that has been Idle Space Navy . There was the disorganized fun of the pre-Steam period, the reality check of the Steam release, and steady improvements in the game since then. As much as some reviews drive me nuts with their complete lack of meaningful feedback, those that ha…
