I’m here to introduce you all to the development log of Cook For Love, where the devs will share info about the inspirations for the game, the process of creating it, and their favorite parts of it.
The team working on Cook For Love is small and made up of experienced developers, who have taken on cozy, educational, and relaxing games in the past. They will have more to say about themselves and their experiences in future devlogs (as well as their process of prepping new dishes)!
Inspired by the cozy vibe and many different cooking games, Cook For Love takes on the cooking process and turns it into a simple, relaxing, and easy-to-follow experience. And if you ever feel like preparing something from Cook For Love’s cookbook – you will be able to! They’re mostly homemade recipes, after all!
Cook For Love also has a narrative you can follow where Clement – a young, amateur chef – will learn his craft. He will also cook special dishes for the background characters, which will unlock some areas of the kitchen for future use. From simple tomato juice to red velvet cake, you will become a chef together with Clement as you progress through the game.
And oh… the tasty dishes you’re gonna see 😋 maybe they’re not edible for a puppy like me to eat, but that doesn’t stop me from staring!
