Hello Horse Enjoyers! 👋
Welcome to the first devlog since the release of 🐴My Horse: Bonded Spirits Prologue. We’ve received a lot of your feedback and based on the pointers, suggestions and reports you’ve submitted we’ve been working on introducing lots of changes to the game. This has been our priority and the entire team’s focus. That’s why today’s devlog will be different from the previous ones as we’ll discuss the course of changes in the game instead of the usual presentation of new content. 📝
First and foremost we’ll change the horse movement system. You’ve made your opinions clear on this one and now you’ll be able to control your horse using only your mouse. 🏇 Keep in mind that to do this, we have to rebuild the entire control system and it takes a while.
Secondly, we’ve introduced voice acting narration instead of the previous AI voice over which was another thing you’ve been frequently asking for. 🎤
You've also mentioned Robbie. We’ve altered her dialogs so now she’ll be more natural and less overwhelming.
Another frequently mentioned topic was the problem with realism- why would we make a newbie raider pair with an untamed horse. Rest assured, although it’s true that the main character is new to horse riding, her horse partner is an experienced horse, all it takes is for your character to gain skills and build mutual understanding with the horse. 🙂
We’re also working on fixing all the reported bugs and optimizing the challenges as some of them were too easy- making them not interesting, or too hard which was also a drawback for some of the players.
These were the topics appearing most frequently but it doesn’t mean we’re ignoring the less popular ones! That’s why if you have a suggestion or an idea what change or feature we should introduce to the game make sure to leave a comment in the discussion section or on our discord and have an actual impact on the game! 👍
