Hey all! Bauske here. This is my first post on Steam for Micro Stream RPG, so I thought I'd give an update on the current build and status of the game.
The Micro Stream RPG beta test has gone amazingly well so far, and I'm happy to say that there haven't really been any major issues to date. Most of the issues are minor visual bugs or adjustments to things to make the game feel better, but nothing that leads to a locked up game, forced reset, or even a *gasp* crash. That's awesome, and I couldn't be happier!
This means the majority of the engine work is done. The next steps involve creating more enemies, more bosses, and more dungeons. Those will be easy enough to get done, but the next real major thing I want to work on before the full release of the game is an online database system for storing user data. Currently in the beta, user data is store locally on the streamer's computer. What this means is that a user's data does not carry over from stream to stream, so if a user were to visit another streamer using Micro Stream RPG, they'd have to start their adventure all over again.
While initially I thought this would be an okay concept, I'm seeing from the beta that people would prefer to have their character data be accessible anywhere on Twitch. And I agree. This is the next step I want to take, but it's not the type of coding or feature I have much experience in, so it's going to take some time to learn and set up. Hopefully not too long. I'm still shooting for a late summer release timeframe.
That's about it for the major plans. Now, here's a list of adjustments and bug fixes I've made for the current version of the game.

That should be all for now. Thanks for reading, and thank you to everyone supporting Micro Stream RPG! It means the world to me!
