Performance Hotfix - Lilleby

Hey there!

First of all, we wanted to sincerely thank you for all the feedback and support for Sumerian Six so far!

Seeing that some of you encountered performance issues during the second level in the Demo (Lilleby), which may happen in specific circumstances, we decided to push a hotfix in order to facilitate a full playthrough of the Demo.

The hotfix to our best understanding should address performance issues (medium to severe FPS drops, occasional freezes) for players who activated the environment kill with the truck in Lilleby (screenshot attached below), and then continued their playthrough, while saving and loading the game multiple times afterwards.

The hotfix, however, comes with a caveat, meaning that there is a risk that for those of you who progressed past the first part of the level, Lilleby saves after interaction with this murderous truck may no longer be compatible or act out. You should be however able to restart the level and progress without further issues if that happens.

We sincerely apologise for any trouble it may cause, but having in mind that the demo will be available to you until at least the end of the Steam Next Fest and objectively improves the game, we feel this is the right step to take.

Thank you for your understanding, feedback and support.
We hope that you've been enjoying Sumerian Six Demo so far! ːsteamthumbsupː
