BIG UPDATE + news of our current situation.

Hey Players,

It's been 2 weeks since we released the game so now it's time to share some of the data behind the curtain, a summary, and a big update.

First good news, Chromosome Evil 2 got approved for trading cards, we just uploaded the trading cards artwork and we are waiting for final confirmation, I estimate they should be dropping by the end of next week.

Summary since the release:

- bug fixing, my partner had a marathon in fixing bugs, it's hard to track but overall he made fixes each day since the release, and we must add here an addition Thank you players for having patience with us
- minor balance adjustments
- minor quality of life features

Today's BIG Update

- Re-balance, today a huge re-balance of the game took place, mele was to OP and the game lacked that dangerous element, we noticed in many videos that people would just grind everything, well no more, now you will need real survival skills
- New content, we added 5 evolution event scenarios(chapter 3) that will get triggered on certain evolution stages to spice up the survival experience.

WARNING: because we added a lot in this new update there might be some new bugs, if you encounter them please report them, and my partner will fix them.

Our current situation

Well unfortunately here the situation is not very good for us.
We failed to reach any of our major milestones in matter of sales and Steam engagement.

This was due to a number of factors, fortunately, the game quality is not one of them.

Right now we are on the floating line and we must consider our next move very carefully.
We probably have funding left to keep making games until the coming winter, so if any Game of Thrones fans around here know that for us the"winter is coming" expression is BRUTAL.

The future

We have read all the reviews and noticed that the people who played it liked our creation a lot, which brought joy to our hearts.
So, right now we are going to fix all bugs that get reported including balance adjustments.
And if the game will get serious attention from the player community in the future we will also consider adding more extra content to it.
