Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery · published
Greetings, agents!
We're thrilled to announce that Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is officially released today! We extend our sincere gratitude for your enduring support and enthusiasm, especially to those who participated in the public tests, closed betas, and LQAs, providing invaluable feedback. Each piece of input from our dedicated community has been instrumental in shaping the game.
As the first-ever project released by MICAteam, we've endeavored to deliver this once-constrained gem of a game, now fully realized through the remake. While the journey took longer than anticipated, we are ecstatic to finally reach this milestone.
The remake isn't just about sprucing up visuals; it signifies breakthroughs and enhancements across multiple fronts:
【Expanded Storyline & Enriched Details】
The original "Bakery Girl" contained numerous untold stories due to various constraints during development, leaving us with lingering regrets. This remake allowed us to fulfill those unrealized ideas and incorporate many new elements, surpassing even our initial aspirations. With over ten times the script, the remake unveils more plot intricacies and details, breathing new life into the narrative.
【Customizable Tactical Teams for Complex Battles】
The expanded storyline also brings about a significantly increased volume of the main storyline and levels. However, we've crafted each level to ensure they don't feel repetitive. In addition to retaining the stealth and enemy elimination gameplay from the original, we've integrated terrain effects, puzzles, and boss battles to add depth. Furthermore, with added story elements and character development, each character in Reverse Collapse now boasts a unique skill set and expanded equipment options, alongside a broader range of consumables and items. Our aim is to offer players diverse tactical choices, enriching the strategic depth of the game.
While our foremost priority with the remake remains to ensure satisfaction among original players of "Bakery Girl", as a game from MICAteam, we understand the importance of maintaining its inherent challenge and strategic depth. Thus, we've retained challenging S-rank objectives and introduced 100 new in-game achievements, including many hidden ones for you to discover.
【Immersive Cinematic Experience】
From the game's inception, we've strived to enhance visuals and integrate narrative tension into gameplay. Introducing 2D character sprites as the main performers was one such innovation. In addition to standard animations, we've crafted numerous new animations tailored for storytelling and introduced many new illustrations into the game to enhance the experience. Furthermore, we've added Japanese voiceovers to all story levels and key map scenes to ensure players are fully immersed in the narrative.
We believe the remake encapsulates everything essential to the core of this game, presenting not only the complete "Bakery Girl" experience but also a brand-new game, Reverse Collapse. We hope that both seasoned players and newcomers alike will find enjoyment in this adventure.
