We had an awesome time at the MAG-C, collecting live player feedback, meeting other indie devs, handing out stickers and checking out awesome cosplays.
While not everyone got it or enjoyed it, the feedback for Procrastinaut was amazing and very positive overall. Of all the people who stopped by to procrastinate some of the convention away, three players managed to grab all of the achievments.
To enshrine both their gaming chops and their commitment to procrastination, they are, in order:
1. NightDogELITE
2. 0x7F and Pico Fox
3. WatchDaToast
Congratulations, I hope to see you beat the next one!
A big shoutout and thank you to my QA lead and booth support Bombentussi who really helped make the Procrastinaut booth a welcoming place.
Of course we want to thank the sponsors of the BASF Indie World and the actually very lovely people from Dark Origin for putting this whole convention together and inviting us.
If you're here, you probably like indie games, and all the other entries from the BASF Indie World are actually well worth checking out. So when you're done Procrastinating, have a look and see if you don't want to give them some love and support.
Beat Slayer by Byterockers, in case you ever wondered why Hades and Crypt of the Necrodancer never had a baby, because now they have!
Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard by WatchDaToast, which is a lovlingy crafted oldschool point&click adventure that will draw you into it's atmosphere in seconds
Cleo by Greycap, an amazing genre defying puzzle adventure that will swash your buckles and shiver your timbers and warm your heart like a sip of grog
Constance by Btf, which plays as well as it looks and will surely be remembered as a modern metroidvania milestone
Lose CTRL by Play from Your Heart, which you should play if you love tilting in video games or yell at your friends in multiplayer (it's not just me, right?)
Domekeeper by Bippinbits, who are apparently not going to stop making their indie game powerhouse even more awesome and added a whole multiplayer
The Journey of AutUmn by Artfactory, if you love lovingly hand-drawn art and a slow-burn narrative puzzle experience ... in space!
Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders by Homo Narrans Studio, if you love detective games with fresh mechanics
Duru by Twisted Ramble, which let's you yell at your depression to stop messing with your day job, but it's not weird and also your day job is collecting food for your mole rat colony
I loved playing them and maybe you will, too.
Have an amazing week, even if you do most of it later, and remember:
