Regarding the Nightmare gameplay in the preseason
Initially, we decided to close the "Twinightmare" season-exclusive gameplay in the "Invincible Champion" preseason, mainly considering that hunters have just experienced the Twinightmare season. If the preseason comes again, it may lead to a repetitive experience without freshness. We received a lot of feedback on this point during the last preseason "Hunter's Odyssey", where many hunters thought that it would be more troublesome and boring to brush through the repetitive "City of Aeterna" in the preseason. In addition, the "Invincible Champion" preseason itself has its own "Gladiator" mechanism. The Gladiator mechanism not only brings more difficult challenges but also has considerable rewards. Combined with the true triple drop rate adjustment in this preseason, we decided not to open the Twinightmare gameplay in the preseason.
However, after the announcement, we found that everyone loves the Nightmare gameplay and recognizes the drop benefits it brings. After discussion, we decided to keep the "Twinightmare" season-exclusive gameplay in the "Invincible Champion" preseason, consistent with the current official season.
Will Corgi Fighter No.32 continue to be usable?
The answer is yes. The "Invincible Champion" preseason will still have a chance to encounter the Star of Calamity Boss, and the Star of Calamity Boss and Gladiator will coexist. The legendary drop Pactspirit "Corgi Fighter No.32", which can increase the Star of Calamity's benefits, will continue to play a role in the preseason. Of course, the Boon event "Vicious Hound Inside" where you can get Corgi Fighter No.32 will also return in the preseason.
What is the core gameplay of the "Invincible Champion" preseason?
If the keywords of the last preseason were "Movement Speed" and "Fast Farming", then the keywords of the Gladiator mechanism this preseason might be "Skill Area" and "Siege". We will introduce more core systems and gameplay in detail later, so please look forward to it. At the same time, this preseason will add Hardcore Mode and Solo Self Found Hardcore Mode. Confident hunters can try to push their limits - however, it is important to emphasize that the strength of the Gladiator may surpass the Star of Calamity, with a very high siege difficulty. If hunters encounter both the Star of Calamity and Gladiator in Hardcore Mode, please pay great attention to survival.
