We've improved the performance of the content generator, it should work a lot faster now. It also eats up less of your RAM. However, since this is a really big change at the core of the game, we want to do an additional round of tests prior the full roll-out.

This is where you come in.

If you'd like the faster content creation and the additional new features and fixes listed below, please enter our beta (LIBRARY> right click on UNEXPLORED>PROPERTIES>BETA> now choose UNSTABLE and wait for the game the download the latest beta version).

We're particular interested in weird behaviour by the generator. If you notice weird placement of objects, enemies or environments, please report this in the Unstable Branch part of the forum.

1.17.6 BETA

New Features:
- Performance boost of the content generator.
- Item glints on pick up are now optional.
- Large inventory remembers last selected slot when using a gamepad.

Game Balance:
- Reduces the chance of Big Beetles appearing.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixes issue with combining items with a gamepad.
- Fixes issue with the Vampire Lord not spawning.
- After reading a tome the inventory slot is freed up properly.
- Fixes issue with inventory slot connections with gamepad and a chest opened.
- Sprites are not auto-targeted with a gamepad.
- Poisonous water will not poison you after you drank an antidote.
- Fixes some typos.
