Stepping Towards New Builder V4: Placing And Moving Parts!

Get ready for another sneak peak into our upcoming builder.

Placing parts:

The Add Tool is responsible for adding parts to your vehicle.
Once the tool is selected the browser bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
After selecting a part we can hover over any surface on our vehicle, and see a preview of how to part will be placed.
We can rotate the preview via the scroll wheel or pressing , once you are happy with the location simply click to place it.
Holding the key works for repetitive part placement.

Moving parts:

Moving our parts got simpler, just make your selection and move them using the axis gizmo.
All parts are free to move either on grid or off grid.
Holding will move your part on grid increments.
To snap parts back onto the absolute grid we can press .

Rotating parts:

Mush like the move tool, make your selection then rotate the parts using the rotation gizmo.
We can again rotate parts on grid or off grid via holding the key.
Pressing will snap the rotation on grid and holding down will snap the rotation to 90 degree increments.

Removing parts:

Removing parts is easy aswell, no longer do we have to watch our vehicle fall apart when we remove something in the middle of the chain.
Simply make your selection and press the key.
You don't have to select a specific tool for this and select always works.

As always, we'll keep our eyes open on Steam, DISCORD and our other channels.

It loads the vehicles and world assets in a way that guarantees no lag spikes will occur. This only applies to vehicles spawned from other players and world assets that stream in as you move. We're not 100% certain this stops the bug from happening, but we've not encountered it happening again. So please make sure to update your game as soon as possible. Sorry again for any inconvenience this bug may have caused. Version 15.1 - 637224919994658326Community14 Apr 2020More reports on properties disappearingWe have had more reports on properties disappearing. More testing pointed out, this is a double layered bug. We found that it has something to do with building whilst in multiplayer. for now, build in single player, and save new copies of your vehicle to be safe! We are getting to the bottom of this issue, we will keep you posted on steam and discord.
