Ascension: Deckbuilding Game supports real-time and asynchronous online play for one to four players, and with cross-platform connectivity you will be able to play against your friends on other devices that also support the game. It also supports hotseat multiplayer capability and advance AI opponents for hours of offline play!
This game also comes complete with 5 full expansion decks, so you are able to adjust and change the game by selecting these decks in the options menu in order to incorporate different game mechanics.

The first expansion created for Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, Ascension: Return of the Fallen expands the game by adding more monsters and heroes to the game. Destroy monsters, steal honor, and recruit new heroes with this deck!
With this expansion, players will need to strategize their hands differently than before as new Event Cards have been added that will change the way some cards were previously played. Trophy Monsters have also been added for players to capture.
This deck brings a brand new game mechanic to the game that hasn’t been seen before. Gathering Soul Gems allow players to receive specific bonuses based on the card obtained for that turn. Additional Trophy Monsters and Events have also been added.
The Crystal Shard game mechanic can be added to gameplay by enabled Ascension: Rise of Vigil. These Energy Shards can lead to some exciting big turns that can help players rack up the Honor Points and help them in their quest for Victory! The new Treasure Cards also put a new twist on some of the older cards which adds a new level of freshness to the game.
Dark Energy Shards are added with this deck which adds to the previous Energy Shard mechanic by also allowing players to banish a card from their discard pile. The Transform ability is also added which allows players to transform Heroes and Construct into a more advanced and evolved form.
