Free Boss Mode update out now: New way to play, Comfort features, Medal system!

Hey Prison Bosses!
Been a long time. We are proud to announce today our biggest update to Prison Boss VR, the Boss mode update, out now! This update took more time than expected to get out as we ported the game to PlayStation VR at the same time, which will also be out today in Americas and tomorrow in Europe.
We’ve been working hard to offer you this new update, adding a brand new way to play the game!
If you read the forums, when we’re active (yes it happens sometimes… :) ), we’ve been talking about a sandbox mode. After months of designing, implementing and testing this new mode, we decided to give it a more unique name, thus the Boss mode.
What’s in the Boss Mode?!
Boss mode lets you decide your own strategy by giving you skill cards which you can use to unlock the items you desire. The goal is to make the highest score you can before the end of the serving time you go for. You can play for 20, 30 or 40 days in any of the 4 prisons. You can then continue your game if you wish but the score will be calculated at the end of the duration you chose.
New comfort options, with the ability to play without room-scale
This is one big new feature, especially for people who had not enough room to use room scale: You can now play seated with the new “distance interactions”. You can now “distance grab”, “distance drop” and rotate 90 degrees with a dedicated input.
New medals system for Story mode
To make the Story mode more replayable, we added a medals system which lets you replay the prisons to perfect your score. The score is based on the total value of items sold, the number of jobs completed and the number of times you got caught by the guards during the playthrough. You then get a final medal related to your score! Go get those gold medals!
Lots of fixes and small improvements
Along with this, we fixed lots of performance and gameplay issues. We did lots of optimization, drastically reducing loading times and greatly improving overall framerate. You can read the full patch notes below.
New achievements
Some new achievements have been added to offer some challenges related to the new mode and the medal system!
