Hello truckers!

2024 has arrived on our doorsteps and we’re raring to go with a whole year of Alaskan trucking.

We’ve got big plans for 2024 and while we can’t get into specifics just yet - we wanted to let you know what we’re working on.

Goodbye 2023, Hello 2024!

Firstly, 2023 was a hell of a year for us. We went to Gamescom, had playtests, released Alaskan Road Truckers and even managed to release an expansion, DLC, seasonal events, and many patches to update and improve the Alaskan Road Truckers experience.

We’re so grateful to everyone who played Alaskan Road Truckers in 2023. We couldn’t have got here without your reviews, comments, feedback, streams, and videos. Everything you’ve shared with us has helped us refine our game, make it better, and has helped shape the future of Alaskan Road Truckers.

2024 Priorities

The New Year is a time for reflection and resolutions. That’s why we’ve decided to take a hard look at Alaskan Road Truckers and work on the areas we feel matter most that will improve the experience of playing our game.

For the moment we are pausing any work on additional content for the game while we devote all our resources to bug fixing, controller and steering wheel issues, and making sure we resolve the issues that get in-between you and the full Alaskan Road Truckers experience.

We still have plans to add to our game, from adding more customization options to more content, but we feel right now the focus has to be on the core game. The next game updates from us will be all about improving the game, not about adding extra stuff. We feel that this is the right call to make now, and we hope you agree as you see Alaskan Road Truckers get into fighting shape.

Alaskan Road Truckers on Console

We remain committed to releasing Alaskan Road Truckers on P55 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. We cannot share release date details just yet but we are working towards a full Alaskan Road Truckers release on console.

The priority right now is making the base game sparkle. As soon as Alaskan Road Truckers is trucking along nicely, we’ll have more definitive news for eager console truckers.

We know that this isn’t the news a lot of console players have been waiting for, but we hope to have more concrete information to share with you over the coming weeks.

We read every single one of your comments, social media posts, and what our community has to say on Discord. However, we want to make sure we’re hearing what you have to say clearly about the current state of Alaskan Road Truckers and also what we should be working on in the future.

We’ve set up a detailed questionnaire for you to fill out - it covers a variety of different areas related to the game and asks for you to relate your current experience with Alaskan Road Truckers. If you could take the time to fill it out, we’d be endlessly grateful.

Merry Trucking Christmas Contest Winners

Finally, over the Merry Trucking Christmas event we ran a screenshot competition over on our Discord, asking truckers to grab screenshots of the snowmen we had hidden around the map.
