Hey Everyone!

We’ve been hard at work, adding features and fixing Mass Exodus based on the community’s feedback, and are happy to update the game today with lots of neat additions!

We would like to thank everyone who informed us about these problems and made suggestions.

We look forward to hearing what you think of the new additions!

New!

  • VR Navigation: You no longer need to use the PC to join or create games, everything can be done in VR through the new hub room
  • The VR player will now have a guide for the power ups on their left controller in the main menu
  • You can now save game settings if they’ve been adjusted for custom games, making it quicker to have rematches
  • Moving robots to another platform now teleports them back to where they were originally, which stops the Seeker from just moving everyone away from a control panel
  • The Scanner power for the seeker now changes colour depending on distance from the Rogue (Red / Far > Green / Close)
  • UI prompts have been added to floating blue cogs when you walk through them, to show you if you can collect them or not
  • New Oculus controller models have been added for Oculus users
  • Vive controller model has received updates
  • VR Players can now press the Menu button on the VIVE or the Oculus will bring up the controls for the game
  • PC players can now press ‘SPACE’ on PC, ‘BACK’ on xbox controllers or ‘SHARE’ on Playstation controllers while in game for a help screen popup
  • Added a “controls” screen in the ready up area
  • You can now use the grip buttons as well as the triggers to pick up androids as a Seeker
  • Added a new way to grab robots as the seeker, using a small sphere as a guide you can pick out the rogue amongst a crowd much easier
  • Added controls help to the Ready Up screen
  • Region selection menu to improve online connection

Fixes

  • Invisibility no longer shows the rogue player as black instead of transparent
  • Camera / player no longer moves while typing in the chat box or while paused
  • Adjusted distance required to activate control panels, which should now be easier to activate
  • Scanner now recharges if the setting is enabled in custom game settings
  • Screen resolution should now scale correctly
  • You can no longer move upwards through the ceiling as the Seeker on The Boiler Room map
  • The mini-map for PC players will now show at the start of the game on The Core level
  • You no longer have to “ready up” the VR person last to start the game
  • Fixed an issue on the Boiler Room where the Seeker’s hand would disappear

We’re currently working on an exiting new project which we can reveal soon, but we will keep a keen eye on the Mass Exodus forums to see what needs adding or changing. We are aware of a couple bugs regarding multi-player which we are still working on.

If you have time to, leaving a review on our store page helps us massively.

Thanks to everyone that has supported us so far.
