Danny Jugan here! Now that Axis Football has been out for a few months, I hope you've come to see that we do things a bit differently here at Axis Games (in a good way ːsteamhappyː) from other developers. Our goal with this franchise is to make the game that the community wants to play. The updates we've done have come directly from the fans, and we plan to keep it that way!
To that end, I thought it would be a good idea - as unconventional as this is - to release the first draft of pledge levels for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. These are subject to change, and I would love to get the feedback of the community. Afterall, the success or failure of the campaign rests on whether or not you like what you see!
We're currently working on the KS video and the full feature list of we'll be adding in the 2016 version. You guys have been great about letting us know what features and improvements you want! We plan to launch the KS campaign in a few weeks, but wanted to get some early feedback from you guys!
A few bits of information that might be helpful. Again, these are subject to change.
- We plan to launch Axis Football 16 around June/July of 2016.
- Beta tests for AF 16 will start around Jan/Feb of 2016
- The planned retail (Steam) price for AF 16 is $19.99.
- We plan to offer a discount to players who purchased the 2015 version.
- Our goal for the KS campaign is $10,000.
- We plan to drop the price of Axis Football 2015 just before the KS campaign starts.
- We plan to have stretch goals.
