One defining element of beat-’em-ups is their inclusion of a combo counter, and Toxic Crusaders is no exception!
Under each character’s RAD METER, you’ll find their combo counter! This number will change from white to yellow, to even warmer colors the higher you dare to go!
And, in the current version of the demo, if you keep wailing on a particular enemy for a while (and increasing that combo counter), that enemy’s sprite will eventually fade to black–which certainly reinforces the idea of beating them to a pulp!
