Alright, we shared our plans for adding the Roguelike moniker to BAPBAP around a month ago, so I guess we should talk a bit more about it, eh? I’ll try and share as much detail as I can without getting fired 👀.
Also no, I’m not going into the roguelike vs roguelite argument. Just read it as roguelite if it bothers you 👿.
Summary
- Roguelike passes the vibe check
- We have systems (like rare equipment) that we’ll flesh out more
- Map modifiers will give you reasons to pick different spawn spots
- Augments will completely change how your character plays each run.
