— Hey everybody! We are thrilled to announce that DreadMoon is coming next week, December 12! Multiplayer gameplay of DreadMoon will be available Early Access on Steam for free, and we’re excited to bring everyone into the DreadMoon universe.
Drawing inspiration from favorites like Halo and Doom, DreadMoon is a retro-inspired first-person shooter game where you play as Ulric, a powerful werewolf and right the wrongs your people made to free the land from the vampire lord Balthazar’s deadly clutches. While only multiplayer game play will be available at this time, you can look forward to a full co-op campaign mode coming in early 2024.
DreadMoon introduces a diverse range of game modes and maps, providing you with a dynamic and engaging environment. The Early Access release will feature seven thrilling game modes, including classic favorites and unique offerings exclusive to DreadMoon, including:

Team Deathmatch
Capture the Flag
King of the Hill
Cranked
Sticks and Stones
Alpha
The game also boasts an impressive arsenal of weapons, ensuring you have the tools needed to dominate the arena. Some of the weapons available in the game include the fully automatic crossbow, grenade launcher, harpoon launcher, minigun, pistol, shotgun/blunderbuss, and the iconic Winchester.
You can create customizable lobbies or join already existing ones that can accommodate up to 8 people to join in the fun. Lobbies can be set as private for exclusive matches amongst friends or public for those seeking a challenge against opponents from around the world.
In addition to the diverse gameplay and weaponry, you can choose from five basic skin colors to customize your character. However, we have an exciting competition on the horizon. Players will have the opportunity to design their own skins, with the chance to see their creation become a permanent part of the game. To stay updated on this competition and more, players are encouraged to join the official DreadMoon Discord server.
