I'm back, with a new update to Chillquarium! Things have been really busy at work but I'm finally ready to push a new build.
Patch Notes
Additional language support!
Chillquarium now supports Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian! Huge thanks to the folks at IndieArk for their excellent translations!
New content!
- Added a mythic fish to each pack which is 10x rarer than the legendaries! (Not required for achievements)
- Added some additional painted colorings for some of the fish! These have a chance to appear once the standard painted fish has been discovered. Some fish have multiple alternate painted varieties!
- All baby sharks now have their own unique sprites, instead of sharing just one!
Quality of Life improvements!
- Added a "Reduced Clicking" option, which greatly reduces the number of clicks required to buy and open packs
- Added a "Buy Max" button, for buying as many packs as possible with a single click
- Gold fish now have a 25% chance to increase rarity level if all golden fish at the existing rarity are discovered. This effects stacks, so there is a 1/16 chance of a double-promotion.
- Various UI tweaks and minor bugfixes.
Implementing translations has taken a large amount of development time, but I'm very excited as it means Chillquarium can be experienced by a much greater variety of gamers. I hope you all have fun finding the new painted fish!
