Hey everyone,
We've been working hard on fixing bugs, improving balancing, and adding an exciting new way to play: Sandbox Mode! Here's a few details on what to expect in our latest update:
Sandbox Mode
Sandbox mode can be accessed through the main menu. This mode is completely separate from the usual Career and differs from it in multiple ways. Some of the main differences between the two are:
-You start Sandbox mode at maximum level with a large amount of money.
-The Workshop is fully unlocked from the start and all of the locations are accessible (although conditions still apply, such as the specific days for auctions).
-Achievements cannot be unlocked in Sandbox mode.
QoL Updates
-Jobs missing parts can now be cancelled once 7 days have passed after the deadline
-While dismantling a device, you can now see missing parts that are not in your inventory as unnamed silhouettes in the quick inventory
-Parts can now be marked in a notebook from the “Device Parts List” UI screen by clicking them. This will mark them in both the Item Shop and in Stashes found in external locations
Game Balance Changes
-Rent penalty has been removed and rent cannot put you with a negative balance anymore
-The value of washing, sandblasting and painting parts of devices you restore for resale has been increased
-The value of completing secondary objectives you get from orders has been increased
Bug Fixes
-While looking at the parts list for a device, parts installed onto other parts were not shown in the list at all if the part they were installed on was missing (e.g. if the Oil Tank was missing in the Oil Lamp, the Wick Tunnel would not appear in the list of parts at all, this is no longer the case)
-Fixed an issue with the timer for buying Storage Units not pausing while the game is paused.
-Fixed an issue with boxes in Storage Units being left flying if the box underneath them was opened first.
-Fixed an issue with the price of parts not updating in the Item Shop Cart if the amount was changed using a controller.
-Fixed an issue with the tutorial prompt for the Washing Prompt not being displayed when required.
-Fixed an issue with the Calendar loading the wrong days for a given month.
-Fixed an issue where the Deadline for a Job would appear to skip a day under certain conditions.
