Hi guys! We are very excited to announce that new update of Corpse Keeper is live now! In this new patch, we’ve added a brand-new challenge mode to spice things up. Here you can be free of many restrictions and challenge various areas and bosses in one run.
To celebrate this major update, Corpse keeper will have a 20% discount from April 11 - 18.
Please note that the current Challenge Mode is still in development and any feedback or suggestions are much appreciated! We'll keep adding content and optimizing the game. Please stay tuned!
And here are some instructions of the Challenge Mode.
After obtaining two demon's soul crystals, you can enter the Challenge Mode through the door in the left corner of Ossuary.
Ossuary doesn’t exist in the Challenge Mode. You will need to select the areas and slash your way through, starting from Level 1. The number of challengeable areas is related to the current game level (for instance, at Level 1 you’ll need to select 1 area, at Level 5 you’ll have to select 5 areas).
Please check out the map design below. Pick your route carefully and defeat the boss in the final room!
Many new events have been added into the Challenge Mode. And the previous events are also a bit different from those of the regular game, e.g. the “Coffins” will also be a special event in the game.
First of all, select 3 out of 4 corpses in the Coffin. The initial stats of the corpses, such as the Decay/Bone Injury/HP/EXP/Attack Actions, will be randomly generated based on the current area.
And you can only select your corpses from the Coffins, but will not be able to heal/repair the bones/apply preservatives here. These functions shall be fulfilled by other "events" during your exploration.
In the Challenge Mode, there’s no backpack restriction. And you can change the corpses’ equipment whenever you want. The Decay of the corpses will be increased to a certain degree with each battle.
*Right now, once you finish a round of challenge mode (successful or failed), your current save of the regular game will be reset. Therefore, we highly recommend that you experience the challenge mode after a round of regular game is finished. There'll be a notification inside the game regarding this situation as well. Please rest assured that we will be working on separating the save slots of these two modes to guarantee a better gaming experience. Thanks!
Game Adjustment
-Replaced the "Inheritance Bottle" with the "Experience Bottle", with the effect of: Directly add 100 EXP to the corpse and increase the corpse’s Decay by 7%.
