Lil’ Guardsman is a narrative puzzle game, inspired by the classic point-and-click genre and the mechanics of Papers, Please. Set in a high-fantasy world with the comedic sensibility of Monkey Island and other 90s Lucasarts adventure classics, Lil regularly finds herself covering for her dad, the head castle guardsman. She interrogates a cavalcade of fun and weird characters trying to gain entry to The Sprawl.
You decide their fate… and the fate of the entire kingdom.
Anyone trying to enter The Sprawl is interrogated by you & you are scored based on your selections. You must be careful not to let suspicious or dangerous folks into the kingdom or it’s game over.
Don’t fret – you have many tools at your disposal to investigate each of the 100+ unique characters in the game. An X-Ray machine, Decoder Ring, Truth Spray & more are all part of your guardsman kit arsenal. You can power up your guardsman kit to help you uncover more information about every character wishing to enter.
Traverse different areas in The Sprawl after your guard shift. From the local tavern to the Goblinball arena & more – The Sprawl has so much to offer it’s no wonder there are so many looking to enter the kingdom.
