First of all, let's clarify what Active Soccer is: it is an arcade game that takes inspiration from classic games, but updates them with modern features. The fun lies in the fact that there is no scripting involved, everything is decided by your own skills. The pace of the game is fast, players move quickly, you can curve the ball and choose the height and direction of your shots. Is it just like the old times? Yes, but we wanted to go further by adding a small simulation component so that you can create real football actions.
What Active Soccer is not? It is not a realistic football simulation game, there is no accurate physics, and the animations and graphics are not made by Konami or EA, but by a very small team.
