Hello! Thanks for joining me again.
If you haven't already, please check out the post I made lest week about the improvements to the release schedule.
With that in mind, we have spent the past week desperately clawing together all of the material we have and filling in the blanks in order to create the first release under the new schedule. I'm not ready to give a firm date yet but we are targeting a release THIS MONTH. If we do, then that means the release would be named 2303 (as in 2023 / 03) with the following release being named 2305 and being released late May.
We've been working really hard and I can confirm that most achievements have now been coded back in as with the replay gallery. We've added some stuff to the GUI and pushed a few minor bugfixes and render fixes.
I've also spent some time working on the NEXT 2 scenes. These weren't going to be included in this release but I may have them finished in time and if so, we will include those also!
What's left to do?
We have the gym free-roam to recode and implement which is coming along nicely.
We need a 'linear' version of this freeroam for the new VN only game mode.
Audio needs adding to container 3.
A few small dialogue parts need adding to container 3
We need to re-add the last few achievements
We need to do a thorough bugtest of container 3 and an overall bugtest of the rest of the game.
Hopefully, we will also get those other 2 scenes finished too.
You may have noticed I've ditched the progress chart that I've been using recently in this dev diary because it is no longer relevant. We will be releasing new updates every 2 months now, so you can expect new content at that point rather than having to check on a percentage each dev diary.
