We've been working hard on improving your Game Master Engine experience, and we're excited to share the latest updates with you. Here's what's new in version 0.8:
Changes
Dice UI Overhaul:
- We heard your feedback and have completely revamped the Dice UI, making it more user-friendly and easier to read. We believe this will greatly enhance your gaming sessions.
- We've also added a fun new feature: a toggle to enable 3D dice rolls right on your screen, so you can enjoy a more immersive and authentic tabletop experience.
Chat Window Improvements:
- We've polished the Chat window UI to make it more visually appealing and easier to navigate.
- To help you keep track of various roll types, we've introduced color-coding for incoming dice rolling messages. Now you can quickly identify Ability Checks, Ability Saves, Attack Rolls, Damage Rolls, and more at a glance.
Left Toolbar Update:
- We know that a sleek interface can make all the difference in your gaming experience, so we've given the left toolbar a fresh makeover. With an updated look and feel, we're confident that this refined design will make your time in Game Master Engine even more enjoyable.
Added Features
Customizable Character Sheets:
- We're thrilled to introduce fully customizable character sheets to Game Master Engine! You can now create personalized character sheets tailored to your specific game, whether it's a fifth edition campaign or something entirely unique.
- Start with a blank canvas and add a variety of "Blocks" to build your perfect character sheet. Arrange them in the provided columns to create a layout that works best for you.
Roll Directly from Character Sheets:
- To streamline your gameplay, we've added the ability to roll dice directly from the character sheet Blocks. Simply enter values in the corresponding boxes, click to roll, and watch as the result is automatically posted in the chat log.
- The system even recognizes the "Block" title, creating a color-coded message that's easy to identify among other chat entries (e.g., Roll 1d20+5 Strength Save).
Character Sheet Theme Switching:
- We know that aesthetics matter, so we've included a feature that lets you effortlessly switch between different character sheet themes. With just the push of a button, you can customize the color palette to suit your personal style.
