After a few years of quiet development, I'm excited to tell you about my first game, Magical Delicacy. Last weekend I revealed it with my publisher, Whitethorn Games, at the Whitethorn Winter Showcase.

With Magical Delicacy, I am creating an odd mix of a wholesome and accessible cooking game and a Metroidvania-inspired platformer. The main goal lies in cooking delicious meals and delivering them to friends and customers. In your own kitchen in the center of the city, you will be able to cook various types of foods; then, on your deliveries, you will have to explore the town, find and befriend characters, and stock up on ingredients through different means. Whitethorn Games' Usability & Accessibility Specialist Britt Dye prepared a small segment about accessibility for the Whitethorn Winter Showcase, including a small preview of features that will be available in Magical Delicacy.
As a solo developer, having Whitethorn Games to back me up for publishing and marketing is a big relief. I have Dale North from Scarlet Moon Productions on board for the soundtrack, whose work you can already hear in the announcement trailer; it's a perfect fit for the game! Still, a lot of work is in my own hands, and I'm doing my best to craft a lovely experience for you. The road ahead is still long, so until the game gets into your hands, the best you can do now is to wishlist the game!
