Last year, paperpancake made a video explaining the successful strategy that he uses for the Crystal Golem Challenge. Since then, there have been many balance changes, but he hasn't updated his strategy. Now might be the time to strike! His first Crystal Golem Challenge attempt this month took 9m 11s. Can you dethrone the Golem King from his place on top of the Crystal Golem Challenge leaderboard?
Rewards
13m 10s or less - Nice time! Your try will be rewarded: 2500 coins + 10 premium days
10m 10s or less - So close! Prize: 5000 coins + 10 premium days
9m 10s or less - You beat paperpancake this month! Prize: 1000 crystals + 10000 coins + 10 premium days
#1 on the August leaderboard at the end - The golems bow before you! You get the prize for beating paperpancake + 1000 extra crystals + the rotating Golem Champion role on Discord. 🙂
This challenge runs until the leaderboard is reset at the end of August.
You can continue to improve your time until the end of the challenge; only your best time will count. To claim your prize, take a screen grab from the leaderboard that includes your time and your Steam display name. Post it to either our Discord (tag @paperpancake in #golem-challenge) or in the Golem Challenge channel of the Steam group chat. Prizes will be distributed the week after the challenge ends.
