- New railroad tycoon gameplay mechanics: geared up with railroad automation, intellectual train scheduling, free placement industry building, ability to connect several depots to a single production, and assignable locomotive perks our players will be able to construct complex logistical systems and support multibranch supply chains.
- Different challenges: limited starting resources, optional objectives, and delivery quests hierarchy will introduce additional challenge—both for a chance to earn additional funds, to test one’s multitasking skills, and as a storytelling device.
- Improved level editor: new scripting tools, programmable scenarios, evolving cities, reactive dynamic water, day/night cycle, thousands of new placeable objects, and numerous quality-of-life improvements.
- Online multiplayer: for the first time in the Train Valley franchise, multiplayer for up to 4 players will be available from launch. Face the level’s challenges, devise a railroad system by building around existing tracks, and establish logistical and financial dominance while sharing produced resources.
