We hope you’ve enjoyed Meteoric VR - Early Access so far! We are now ready to roll out some more new updates! As you may know, Meta Quest has introduced the latest hand tracking update less than 2 weeks ago. We wanted to make use of this new technology and push Meteoric VR forward with this update making use of the v2.1 update and much more!
Meteoric VR - Early Access Version Update 1.2.0 on App Lab
- Updated hand-tracking SDK to v2.1.
- Each ability can be upgraded.
- Added challenges (3 levels).
- Visualized player's hit (cracked helmet).
- New wormhole and meteor trails VFX.
Laser Upgrades
- Level 1 - Damage 1.
- Level 2 - Damage 2.
- Level 3 - Multi-hit, laser is not stopped with the first hit.
Shield Upgrades
- Level 1 - Small shield.
- Level 2 - Large shield.
- Level 3 - Deflect UFO projectiles.
Energy Ball Upgrades
- Level 1 - More time to charge, short fire time.
- Level 2 - Short charge time.
- Level 3 - Long fire time.
