“进步之星”更新包是为解决游戏的剧情、解谜引导和重复性等问题所做出的一众系统更新的集合。它能帮助新玩家，特别是不太擅长解谜游戏的玩家，更加顺滑、自由地体验这完美的一天。
- 推理系统与剧情模式：在剧情模式中，推理系统将提供更多谜题信息。玩家可以在剧情模式，与经典的解谜模式之间自行选择。
- 故事锁标记系统：标记剧情流程中关键的故事锁，帮助玩家明确需要解决的具体问题，并将相关信息记录于小馋佬卡面上。
- 抽屉系统优化：增加抽屉筛选功能，方便玩家更加快捷地决定物品去留，并将保留前一天的选择信息。
- 跳过时间标记：标记所有可跳过时间的触发选项，加快游戏推进，缩短单个循环的游戏时长以降低重复感。
