Updated Early Access Roadmap

Dear students and concerned parents,

Below you can view the list of updates planned for the game while it remains in Early Access.

Early Access Features

• Level 1, which consists of 5 different segments. The average time of one playthrough is 1-2 hours.
• A basic version of the room layout generator and puzzle randomization, which increase the amount of unique playthroughs.
• First player power - destroying walls and objects.
• Mr. Hyde remains in his human form, but there are several nasty traps in his arsenal, so watch out!

Quality of Life Update

Once Early Access players have played through Gravewood High, we will begin to collect feedback. Any reported bugs will be fixed and we will incorporate further improvements to the game.
While we have worked tirelessly on the title, there may be a few unplanned anomalies. You can submit anything that seems strange or bizarre to us through our forums, email, or social media channels; things that you find hilarious are also welcome!

Multiplayer update

• Release the alpha version of the 2-6 player co-op multiplayer mode. Help each other against the Teacher, or frame other players so that you can escape the school alone. Earn ranks at the end of each round, such as 'Savior' or 'Teacher's Little Helper' – in the future, these ranke will affect the player's reputation system.
• Adding new puzzles and riddles for multiplayer mode.
• A large new map with unique areas, such as a gym, locker rooms, and more.
• Additional mobility the Teacher so that he can now jump over low obstacles, like tables and through window openings.

First content update

Multiplayer:

• Improvements to the multiplayer progress system
• Bug fixes

Base game:

• A new puzzle related to the science exhibition in segment 2.
• Mr. Hyde will obtain a new trap - a small bell, which will ring loudly if you are not careful.
• Improved visuals. We will continue to work on lighting, item placement and the interiors of various rooms.

Level 2 Release

• Level 2, consisting of a completely new, previously inaccessible location. This will add an additional 1-2 hours per playthrough.
• Improvements to Level 1. Updated room layout generator and improved puzzle randomization, which will further diversify playthroughs.
• Brand new puzzles and secrets!
• New game mechanics and improvements to existing ones. Players will be able to cut chains, neutralize traps, and more.
• The addition of a character leveling mechanic, which will depend on the number of items collected. It will be possible to increase your inventory space or movement speed among other things.
• Mr. Hyde will change his appearance to something more sinister, gaining new traps and abilities in the process.
• The Teacher can create barriers, encouraging the player to find ways to break them down or look for alternative routes.

Content Update 2

• Improvements to Level 2. An updated algorithm for generating rooms, more room layout options and improved puzzle randomization, which will further diversify playthroughs.
• New puzzles and secrets!
• New horrific abilities for Mr. Hyde. We have played with a few abilities during development and plan to introduce a few to the final game. A teaser of what we’ve been working on behind the scenes:
  - "Leech" ability - Mr. Hyde spawns a gruesome creature that chases the player and slows them down.
  - "Tracking" ability - the Teacher is able to trail his prey by following the player’s footprints.

Full Release

• Level 3, consisting of a completely new location. This will add an additional 1.5 hours of playtime to each playthrough.
• Improvements to Level 3. An updated algorithm for generating rooms and improved puzzle randomization.
• Mr. Hyde will unleash his final ghastly appearance. Are you brave enough to witness the Teacher’s true form?
• Mr. Hyde will be able to teleport around the school building, catching the unsuspecting player.
