Hey everyone,
I’d like to share that I just updated the game to the latest version (8.0)!
This time I added a lot of content to the 'Doctors' storyline, and expanded 'Lorza' her storyline a bit as well. And during this part of the adventure, Keen will end up in a rather unexpected place... and gets to enjoy some interesting music!
Well, I hope you like it!
This has been added -in more detail
- New gameplay, quests & dialogs.
- New Minigame: Scanner game
- New menu: 'Chapter Select Screen' (This replaces the previous 'skip buttons' menu)
- New location: Crew Hallway Junction
- New location: Crew Hallway, doors for Keen & Lune
- New Location: Security Room
- New Location: Recovery Room
- New Location: 'New ship' Entrance
- New Location: 'New ship' Hall right
- New Location: 'New ship' Hall left
- New Location: 'New ship' Device
- New items available at the printer
- 2 XXX scenes for Lorza her storyline!
- Various new character poses, some sounds, items and additional story art.
And I also fixed many spelling errors you found, so thanks!
Please keep in mind while playing...
- Old save games cannot be re-used ( if code changes, saves break).
- Instead, go to: main menu -> start -> to start again where you left off. (Press Ctrl if you want to skip the text.).
- When someone tells you to come back later; pass through Keens room.
- Press 'H' to hide the HUD.
- Press 'L' to show the game logo.
- Press 'S' to make a screenshot!

Now I also thought it might be interesting to show you a bit more of what goes into making backgrounds for Space Rescue. So here you see the steps I took to make the Security Room. ...Do you recognize the 'main menu' in here? :)

Well, that's all the news I have for now. But meanwhile I already started working on the next update, and I hope to be able to release it again in about 3 months.
