We are pleased to release the first of the big Early Access updates to rogue-lite shooter Die After Sunset!
This brand new content update features:
- Brand new level - Visit the icy village of Yggdrasil and aid their fight against the Murkor threat.
- New Items - Tool up with brand new items like the 'Pocket Shield' and 'Fire Drone'!
- New Boss - Something evil lurks at the heart of the village... Be careful once sunset comes around...
- Bug Fixes & Game Balancing - Huge amount of bug fixes, game balancing and unlocks; with submachine-gunning cyborg 'Rido' available to play straight away!
More to come! Multiple updates adding everything from co-op gameplay to brand new characters and levels are all planned for the coming months.
Some New Tools To Play With!

- Self-Destruction: Blow your shield up and let nearby enemies feel the blast
- Pocket Shield: A good defensive item that fits in the palm of your hand
- Auto-aimed Gift: Every hit landed has the chance to trigger a free missile shot
- Dark Ritual: Murkors take more damage when they are in the shadows
- Book of Resistance: Increases your resistance to damage
- Fire Drone: A drone that sets fire to everything in sight
- Ice Drone: A drone that freezes all its targets
- Shock Drone: A drone that leaves your enemies profoundly shocked
- Poison Drone: A drone that poisons everything it hits
